Calling cake and dog lovers! LoveAshford is proud to present the very first Great British Bark Off, an exciting event combining cake and canines in a fun, free family event in Ashford Town Centre.

The event will kick-off at the Bandstand from 12pm on Saturday 31 August, where participants who have not registered their dogs can do so (subject to availability). From 1pm listen to live music, pick up tasty treats from local food stalls and even make a dog accessory for your pet at the Doggy Style stall with Made in Ashford.

The dog show will take place from 2pm to 3pm; lucky winners will have the chance to get their paws on some fabulous prizes including some treats from Ashford-based business, Curious Brewery.

CakeLocal food businesses will be contributing cakes to the bake-off part of the day, where judges will sort the light and fluffy from the soggy bottoms. Who will cut the mustard and achieve the coveted golden handshake? Stick around for this sweet deal, as after the judging, the cakes will be cut for all to enjoy.

Local animal charities and community groups will be in attendance, plus, kids can get in the spirit by having their face painted.
