Come down to Ashford on Saturday 20 April between 10am and 3pm to enjoy some eggs-ellent Easter activities, sponsored by LoveAshford.com.
Embark on an *Easter Trail between 11am – 2pm around the High Street, Park Mall and County Square and find the hidden letters from select stores to help you crack the hidden code and claim a FREE chocolate Easter egg! Collect your free Easter Trail map from the Loveashford gazebo sited next to the bandstand, and head back there with your completed map to collect your chocolate prize.
Revelation Ashford have organised a line-up of live music from local artists on the bandstand too, and look out for the Easter bunny characters that will be roaming the town centre until 2pm.
Get the kids involved with some handmade crafts and colourful creations with Made in Ashford and Emporia between 11am – 3pm; find them in Park Mall, alongside the centre’s selection of great independent businesses. What’s more, why not challenge your friends to a game of ping pong on Park Mall’s brand new table tennis tables. Staff from The Park Club Gym Ashford will also be on hand to give you tips on how to have a more active and healthy lifestyle.
In addition, County Square are running family-friendly craft workshops where youngsters can create their very own Easter Bonnet to take home. Head to the County Square Main Square between 10.30am and 3.30pm to join in the fun.
But that’s not all; head down to Elwick Place Piazza between 11am and 2pm for their ‘Welcome Spring’ celebration which will be packed with free, family-friendly activities. Check out the Sowing Zone where you can pick your favourite seeds and plant them in a pot to take home. Plus local farmer Ed Kyrke-Smith, owner of REBEL FARMER, will be demonstrating how easy it is to grow fresh food in any space.
There will also be live music and fresh vegetables and colourful flowers on display with information about where to source it.
