Have your say on draft budget for 2020-21
The council’s draft budget for 2020/21 is now available for residents to have their say.
The draft includes additional funding for repairs and maintenance of council assets, and also provides updates on the council’s major projects.
To help fund these priorities, and continue to maintain services, it is proposed to increase the Ashford proportion of council tax by less than 10p a week for band D properties to £167.50 per year.
Anyone who wants to have their say can read the consultation online and send their views to Maria Stevens, Head of Finance & IT, by email, or by post to Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford, Kent TN23 1PL. Please ensure all comments reach us by Friday 7 February 2020.
